Welcome! We are pleased to offer a comprehensive O&G training programme that spans over 7 years, starting at ST1. This programme has been designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge and experience necessary to become a competent and confident obstetrician and gynaecologist.
During your training, your work will be closely monitored to ensure that you are making satisfactory progress. This will be assessed through annual reviews in the form of an Annual Review of Competency Progression (ARCP). These reviews will help you to identify your strengths and areas for improvement and enable us to provide you with the support and guidance you need to progress through the programme successfully.
Progression through the O&G training programme will be dependent upon satisfactory reviews. Our aim is to ensure that you receive the highest quality training and that you are fully prepared for a career as an obstetrician and gynaecologist.
