- Please aim to commence the application process at least 10 weeks in advance of the activity to ensure that you have final approval at least 6 weeks before the study leave event. Note that claims for retrospective applications will not be processed.

The Head of School would like to see all applications for the following (prior to approval being given):
- overseas events
- events not on the list
- events classed as desirable
- events requiring more than five days of study leave
- events costing more than £1000, or more than £300 travel
