Public health practitioners are key members of the public health workforce and can have a great influence on the health and wellbeing of individuals, groups, communities and populations. They work across the full breadth of public health in a wide range of settings. Their roles are multidisciplinary and they are responsible for individual and population level interventions.
The Thames Valley School of Health coordinates an annual ten-month long scheme. Practitioners submit three retrospective commentaries which are mapped according to their knowledge, understanding and application through the UKPHR revised standards.
