Training Approval

Providing high quality medical education is a key aspect of excellence in patient care.

NHSE has a statutory role in ensuring the quality of training of healthcare professionals.

One of the key elements in assuring the quality of medical education is the approval of training. This involves two elements, the approval of the trainers and the approval of the programme and location. Further information can be found under Trainer Approval and Programme and Location Approval.
