Curriculum

The curriculum will be delivered through a combination of clinical experience both in clinics and on the wards and by a 3-year rolling Education Programme in Diabetes and Endocrinology. There is also ample opportunity to attend Local, Regional, and National Educational events in the Speciality.

Specialty Exam:

Our Trainees usually take the Specialty Certificate Exam in Endocrinology and Diabetes in years ST4 or ST5 and we have a very high first time pass rate.

Our Trainees complete the programme fully competent in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Medicine and all of our Trainees who have been awarded their CCT in the last 12 months have been successful in obtaining Substantive Consultant appointments.
